Accelerating the investigation of 119 Thais in the call center gang, whether they volunteered or not, found 7 people have arrest warrants.

Today (2 March 2025), Pol. Lt. Gen. Trairong Phiwpaen, Commander of the Technology Crime Investigation Division, revealed the case in which Thailand previously accepted a group of 119 Thai call center operators from Cambodian authorities after a crackdown in Poipet to Sa Kaeo Province and sent them back to Thai authorities for prosecution. He said that the process of the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) is currently underway to separate victims of human trafficking and forced labor or services who were recruited by call centers from those who volunteered to join the call center gang. The investigation will be conducted by the Sa Kaeo Provincial Police, Region 2 Provincial Police, the Anti-Human Trafficking Division, the Immigration Bureau, and the Technology Crime Suppression Division.
